QlikView Issue in Automation Task

Hi, We are using Qlik Sense and Qlik View. The tasks are setup in the Qlik View and monitoring by Qlik View QMC. Till Today morning around 6.40am our task getting successful. But from 6.50 am onwards the task getting failed, suddenly all the reloaded the job getting failed. 

How to find the issue, exact root cause and where we need to find the logs. Because this is not related to any particular task. After 6.50 am all the reload task failed.

@Albert_Candelario Hey Albert, we suspect MS Defender may be cause this task failure. So we offboarded the MS Defender from the server. Then 2 days running fine, but suddenly today afternoon we faced the issue and all the task getting failed. So I restarted the server and now working fine. 

Could you please suggest on this ? 😞

@balajibc64  Have you reviewed the Windows Event logs for around the time the reload task failed? Did you review the Distribution Service logs for the time you encountered the failure of the reloads as well? Sounds like the tasks failures may have been resource related since restarting the Qlik server resolved the task failures.

@Lucas_Gatling No. I tried to find the Window event logs, but I'm not able to look into this log. Its not showing. I checked the Distribution service logs but I not able to find anything.

And all the reloads failed? it sounds like a big crash happened this time.

@Albert_Candelario Not sure. But after restarting the server its working fine.

@Albert_Candelario  Yes now not facing the issue. but sometime we are getting the issues like 1 or 2 task failed rarely.  Below pasted the error message 

Error: Document open call failed. The document might require username and password.

(7/9/2023 7:35:29 AM) Information: Attempted to load the document without data.

(7/9/2023 7:35:29 AM) Error: The document failed to open.

(7/9/2023 7:35:30 AM) Information: Closed the QlikView Engine successfully. ProcessID=181188

(7/9/2023 7:35:30 AM) Error: Document could not be opened

But next run, its working fine. don't what is the root cause for this issue.

This is usually a resource issue:

Error: Document open call failed. The document might require username and password.
