QlikView Multi-server

Hi Qlik,
 
I need to update QlikView in  a multiserver Qlikview and I am want to confirm it this is the process:

Server 1:
Ther services running here are
QlikView WebServer

QlikView Server
 
Server 2:
QlikViewDirectoryServiceCo

QlikView DistributionService

QlikViewManagementService

QlikViewServiceDispatcher
 
 
I should choose "Custom" installation when running the installer and select the services, in each server and thats all

But not sure if I shoud do some of the installation first and stop the services in both server at the same time.
 
Could someone please confirm this?

Hi @pasgalbarra,

You are correct in that you should choose the Custom installation and choose the appropriate services for each server.  Regarding your question, you should upgrade both servers simultaneously.  Stop all services on each machine before you perform the upgrade, and then perform the upgrade procedure on each machine of the multi-server setup.
