QlikView failed Kerberos Authentication in Azure Cloud

Dear fellow QlikView Administrators,

we recently migrated with our QlikView servers into the Microsoft Azure Cloud. While everything is working fine, we're getting quite a few error messages for the Kerberos authentication (Kerberos pre-authentication failed) of the service account that we use to run the QlikView services.

This seems to be happening between the domain controller and the QVS and QDS (on two different servers). We're using QlikView 12.50 (12.50.20200.0).

Has anyone seen such error messages? Is there something we might have missed to configure? Again, from a user perspective all serves are up and running and working fine, but our security team is worried about the failed authentication attempts and we would like to get the setup right 🙂

Best regards,
Henrik

Hi @H3nr1k,

Can you clarify where you're using Kerberos authentication - to authenticate for access to QMC? for endusers to access AccessPoint?  Thanks.

Best Regards

Good Question 🙂

We're only seeing the failed authentication between the servers that run QVS and QDS against the domain controller. The communication between the end user and the AccessPoint is fine.

Best regards,
Henrik
