Reading data from .SHARED file

Good day,

I need some help with the data in the .Shared file (file created to store the session information and other setting from the Web).

I would like to read the bookmark's information that the users create, store them into a QVD and incorporate them as Document Bookmarks into the QVW by the "Import bookmark" command in a daily basis.

Does anyone have experience reading data from the .Shared files?

The Power tools don't show the actual content of the bookmarks, but only show the 'id' of the bookmark.

Did you find a way of retrieving the actual bookmark from the shared file?

QV Power Tools http://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-3059 has the QvServerObjectConnector tool, which you can use as a connector to read data from the Shared files. Really straightforward usage, with instructions in a Readme file.
