I have a script that uses binary load which can be reloaded manually but not through the server.
I checked the logs in Publisher\Qlikview Distribution Service for the file and found this :

The file from which i load with binary is in the same folder. All the services are running (other files reload without problems).
Anybody else had this problem?
Is :"E:" a mapped drive or a drive local to the QVS? QVS can't use mapped drives.
-Rob
Nope, it's a local drive. Both files are in the root folder of the QVS.
Anything useful in the document log of the failing script?
-Rob
Also, the Publisher account has read/execute access to the binary-load QVW, right?
I am having the same problem as well. Below is an example of a log file that I get:

Were you able to find a solution to this?
This is possibly unrelated but I had a problem with EDX and passwords (in progress with QlikTech)- cut a long story short when I specify a password on the task it doesn't work, yet with a null password it does. I wonder if the very same bit of code in publisher is having trouble understanding binary loads too?
I'm only having this with SR4 - are you on SR4 too?
I am currently using SR3. I am not sure if this is related or not, but I have a service request in, so I am waiting to here back from them.
I didn't find a solution yet. I use Windows Task Scheduler to reload the files which have binary load.
Hello,
i have the same problem with binary script...
how do you solve the problem with the windows task scheduler? i never use this befor so i need a noob instruction 🙂
Operating System (Windwos Server 2008 R2 Standard)
QlikView Server is SR4.
