From the QlikView reference manual, it states:
ADMIN rights are only relevant for local documents! Documents opened on a Server are always opened with USER rights.
If that's the case, what would be the best way to allow a group of users to create objects on the server, and another group of users to not have that privilege?
I want to have a group of "Power Users" that can create their own charts, and a group of "Users" that can only view what's already been created.
I do not wish to use Section Application to hide/show different sheets with different privileges on them, or distribute two separate versions of the same document. Those seem like sloppy and unnecessary solutions. Is there a better way to do this?
In QV10 you can allow certain users to create objects by adding them in the QEMC.
Sadly you would have to do this document by document, user by user.
