.Shared file might cause missing bookmarks

Hi,

Some of our customers are experiencing the issue that they lost their bookmarks while other users of the same qlikview application don’t have any issues with their bookmarks.

Looking at the folder we noticed that we now have two shared folders for this qlikview document:

HRM_PS_DETAILINFORMATIE.QVW.Shared  (which probably is used) saved 21.02.2014 and

hrm_ps_detailinformatie.qvw.Shared.OLD saved 17-2-2014 since when the issues appear.

Can anyone tell me where these .old files come from and why and how they are created?

User is using the IE plugin.

Bill - Any suggestions? We have same issue. I've tried to take previous backup but that doesn't resolve the issue. Restarted QVS just to make sure but that didn't help either. Any help is much appreciated.
