Have you reviewed the PDF I linked - https://help.qlik.com/en-US/qlikview/November2017/pdf/Deploying%20QlikView.pdf? This should have all of the information you need. If you stumble during configuration, just post the issue here or contact Qlik Support.

Hi Karthik,

Are you referring to adding an additional QVS node to an existing QVS cluster? If yes, see Deploying QlikView "Clustering" section, beginning on page 49.

Hope this helps,

Chip

Hi,

I want to add another server to an existing Single environment server. So could you please mentions the steps in configuring an additional server to an existing single node server.

And also about the configuration of Accesspoint too.

Thanks

Just install the QVS on another machine, add it to the QMC configuration (QMC->System->Setup->QlikView Servers->Green button) and then configure a server license for this QVS.

AFAIK you cannot add a second QVS to an AccessPoint. You'll have to install a second QVWS as well and link it to the second QVS. And if you don't have a Publisher license, you may not be able to publish documents to the second QVS.

In addition to that, you'll be forfeiting all advantages that come with a clustering setup (like load balancing, resilience and that single AccessPoint). Any particular reason why you intend to do this?

Hi Karthik,

1) Naviage to QMC Console.

2) System-->setup-->Qlikview Server

3) Here you can able to see one "+" symbol in right hand

4) Click on that "+" symbol and add new server.

5) Click on Apply.

6) It will ask for restart QVS Services. So, that we have to click on "OK".

7) Once completed, we can able to see two servers and also we can cross verify under services tab.

Note:- Before Adding new server as a cluster, the QVS LEF should satisfies for server clustering.
