I installed a new Qlikview server on january and it was working fine.
(Clean instalation but importing everything from the old one)
The customer tested it and, a month ago it became the main server and was working flawlessly.
But some days ago the scheduled tasks start to fail with a "timeout after waiting for qvb/queueing"
If I execute the task it doesn't work.
If, in the same server, I open the qlikview desktop and execute the .qvw, it works fine (and it's quite fast).
Any Idea of what can I do to solve this problem?
Hi,
Can you also take a look at this article. It discusses different configurations that have to be considered to be done for better performance.
Do you get this for all tasks?

It sounds like you are running out of QVB engines. Without any Distribution logs to review it's hard to say what is actually going on. I would suggest these 3 things:
- Spread out the times of the tasks,
- Add more CPU cores so more tasks can be run at the same time,
- or Increase the timeout so the QVB waits a bit longer
Thanks for your answer,
but there is only one task running at the same time and even executing it manually (clicking on the "run" triangle on the task list) it doesn't work.
And the task is very light, less than 5 minutes and not data heavy.
And, on top of that, it was working fine until a couple of days ago...
Could you upload the full QDS task log? That may be helpful to those of us trying to help. Thanks!
Best Regards
