Unable to access Access Point


we are facing a recent problem with Qlik View

Users who have Named CAL can access the Access Point normally

but Users with Document CALs are unable to log in to Access Point

these users are prompted to enter user name and pwd but nothing happens after they supply their credentials

what do I need to check / fix?

Kindly advise

What type of authentication are you using? (Windows, SSO, ticketing,...)

Usually, QlikView does not do the authentication. It only redirects the credential it receives to whatever authentication system you have configured.

If you are using Windows Authentication, you should see a login failure with extra detail in the Windows Event logs -> Security on the server running the QlikView WebServer.

If that does not help, could you clarify or maybe even send a screenshot of what happens when the user tries to log in

  • You are getting a blank page
  • You are prompted to log in again
  • ...
