Dear All,
We have upgrade Qlikview Server v9 to v10 and the service distribution doesn't start. The platform is Windows Server 2003 sp2 64bit.

I suggest you to uninstall qlikview from control panel. then remove registry entries for qlikview from registry.
then try again to install qlikview 10
I'm sure it will help you out.

Hello Helen,
There are several steps to be followed when upgrading from first service releases of version 9 (up to 4). You have those steps available in the Release Notes of that version. There is a document about Installation notes where the upgrade process is also described. Check the Download section in the Support menu.

I have already start doing this, because i also thought that this will might be a cause for that problem but if it's really the problem then the upgrade mode is meaningless.
