Hi @eiconsulting,

Are you referring to using the same license in QV 12.50 that's currently in use in QV 12.30?  You can enter the license in the Manual LEF Checker to review the License Enablement File (LEF) and check the date at the end of the Product level line (PRODUCTLEVEL;10;;2021-01-31). As long as the date listed is after the release of QV 12.50 (2020-04-27), then you can use this license.

If you're going to install QV 12.50 on a separate Windows server, then you cannot use the same license simultaneously on two separate QV environments. In this scenario, you can reach out to your Qlik account manager and request a temporary license.

Please ping back if you have further questions.

Hi @eiconsulting

Just one small addition to Chip's answer above.

Even though you can run QlikView on a license as long as it was valid on the release date, we will only give support on licenses that are currently under support (the date in the file is the end date).
