Will it prompt a authentication window when user connect to QVS in domain?

Hi all:

Recently, I have a question about authentication when user connect to QV in domain.

For example, there is a QVS is deployed in domain controller, and browsers are all domain-user. Will it prompt a authentication window asking for username and password when they try to open a QVW through QVS?

On more question, is that necessary to deploy QVS on Domain controller server?

Hi Ben.

For your question 1. Yes it will ask your credentials while you logged in.

And for question 2

Qlikview server till V9 can be installed on DC. Where as fron V 10 Onwards the instillation on Domain controller is not supported
