ajax pivot , straight table issue

Hi ,
The Ajax client does not seem to allow the movement of dimensional columns in pivot or straight tables , seems to function correctly when using java or ie plugin.
Have test this using IE 8 , Chrome ver 7 and FireFox ver 3.6.
Is this a limitation of the ajax client ? or am i missing something?
Server details:
QV server version 9 , SR6.
