We have the QV server installed behind a firewall with port 80 open, running IIS. Users connect to the server over the web and I have setup dns to xxx.server.com.
Users go to xxx.server.com/qlikvew install the IEPlugin and connect to the access page fine. When they click on a document we get the connect to server dialog box which has qvp://server/document.qvw. The server name here is the netbios name of the server which the client does not recognize. If I change it to qvp://xxx.server.com/document.qvw it connects.
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks!
