copy to clipboard in edge

Hi to you all

we recently upgraded to qlikview 12.9

up to now we used the plugin mainly to do "copy to clipboard" in a fast way at the user's computer

now , It appears that the plugin doesn't work at all with edge 64bit

I have questions tow about that:

  1. can I use the plugin with edge 64bit and how?
  2. do I have another solution in order to "copy to clipboard" in user's computer (like macro)

Hi .

We face the same problem.

Qlikview server 12.8 64Bit - the Plugin doesn't work on edge browser.

Users have used it on previous release (11.2) just for the "copy to clipboard" option in order to copy table data.

I know the option of 'send to excel' but it is overhead for the users since they need to copy the data every few minutes.

The copy option from the menu of the table chart doesn't work.

Is there any solution to copy entire table data to clipboard on release 12.8 without the plugin? I will appreciate any help.

There is no way to access the clipboard in the Ajax client!

The only option is to rollout the QlikView Desktop to the users.

First the users have to enter the "Qlikview Server AccessPoint URL" under "Settings -> User Preferences -> Locations."

Then they can open the applications via "Tools -> Open QlikView AccessPoint." In this way they get the same feeling as in the Plugin.

According to the release notes, this should work again in version 12.90 It does not work in version 12.80.
