difference Distribute to QlikView Server and Distribute to Folder
what is the difference between these too? Besides that the to QlikView server distribute though port 4747 and Distribute to folder does some kind of copy between network locations i guess
In case of "Distribute to Folder", it's just the reloaded QVW you'll get in that spot. No meta data (like the named users you're distributing to, or the allowed clients, or whether server objects are enabled on this document, etc.) travels with the document because that meta data is not stored in the QVW but somewhere else (.Meta files managed by the QV Server).
