If you are using Section Access and you use the field NTNAME with the user's "domain\user" and you use Internet Explorer as your browser, it should pick up the user's credentials and allow access without prompting for credentials.
If you are not using Section Access, and you are using the Active Directory on the QlikView Server Management Console to validate your users, it should also not ask for credentials if you are using Internet Explorer as your browser.
Hi Jose,
I am not using section access.
I just installed server with IIS, placed my QVW and trying to access via Accesspoint. And it is asking password which I want to avoid in my test system.
I don't want to use any authentication, just needs to allow any user with provided link until my license CAL's reach.
Thanks.
Hi Ashfaq,
I am trying to understand the attached document. But it is for version 9 & 10, my version is 11.2, is there any updated document on SSO.
Thanks.
Hi,
Concept is almost same.
You just need to build your custom page.
When you configure SSO then you need to handle security by some external mechanism.

To allow access to any user without prompting for credentials:
Go to the QlikView Management Console -> Documents tab -> Authorization sub tab -> Change the User Type to All Users.
Also verify that on the System tab -> Setup -> Security looks like this:
Hi Ashfaq,
Thanks for reply.
I have one more question related to this.
=> Avoiding users authentication, that I can do by using that document.
Assume I completed the SSO setup.
Queation is => If I want to filter data based on the lgged user, how can I do that? Do I needs to implement Section Access? will it will again check authentication?
Thanks.
Yes for that you have to go for section access.
You can implement section-access with SSO.
It supports.
