execute from access point

hi all,

i have a document (operational.qvw) with a button action that launch a batch file.

it is working well but, when i upload the document (operational.qvw) into access point the button does not run/execute the batch file.


any ideas?

Hi Ilan,

I used to do things like that but only with IE Explorer and IE plugin... Are you making your tests this way?

Yes I have a on demand button and it is only enabled when i open it with plugin IE.

thank you Hector,

it is working with IE from local host,

but when using IE from another computer it fails with 'Access Denied'execute.jpg

any additional settings in IE is needed?

And you have the same version of Plugin IE and Qlikview in these two computers?

Check the port that you used (4747 normally)

Or may be it is an IE cross domain issue..

It seems that the other user has not system access when executing the macro... If the user pulses CTRL+SHIFT+M the macro menu should appear and maybe, selecting the proper values, it could work.
