how to make thumbnail with access control

hi Qliks,

my QVWs have been classified by category. but i want some people can only see specific category, cannot see other thumbnail.

can anybody tell me how to achieve it?

Hi,

Thumbnail is default option in the access point itself.In accesspoint "view" you can select detail or thumbnail. which version of QV server /publisher you are using ?

i am using QV server 9 without publisher.

for example, there are two users: CFO & Sales VP.

and i only want CFO to see finance thumbnail, and Sales VP to see sales thumbnail.

do not list all thumbnail for all people.

this problem touble me a lot time.

If you use NTFS security, give the CFO authority to that document / folder and the other user to the other document / folder. (within windows explorer)

i tried, it worked! thanks so much! but when i reset access authority, the use can not see thumbnail as the statues when be without authioirty. i must restart QVWS to slove this case. is there any another method?
