hi everybody,
is that possible for testing to run on two different servers with one QV license?
Anyone ever tried?
what could be the worse case when I running one license on two different servers?
Thx & Regards
P
No, there is no way to do that. The QlikView Servers will see two machines with the same license and one will go off duty.
Bill
The correct way to handle this is to talk to your account manager. He can in some cases get you a test list for a period of time.

Bill,
What if there is no connectivity between them.
OK and what could be the worse case, ... e.g. my server license will be blocked for a period of time?
what if one server has no internet access?
Hi,
As per the license agreement, it is illegal to use the same license for one ore more servers. When you install the software you agree on the agreement, so if you try something like you said there are chances that you may fall into legal problems.

Hi Kaushik,
you are definitely right and its not my intention to do this.
it's just a test scenario what I wanna try.
So can I do this without having the worse case that my license will be blocked or something like that.
Hello
You can try : in our servers system stop production services, start QV software on different test server , make testing, stop test services and start production services for example on weekend, when users are not working with system.
Best regards

Followed up
In your system of course.
