The account that you are using to start the service...have you ever logged into the machine with the account? Please try that if you haven't. If not, please try a different account (domain vs. local). Check the user to start the service is in the local administrator group and qvadministrators group. I'm presuming you have attempted to restart the machine? Have you attempted in the past to install QV on this machine, perhaps a lower version? ... hope some of these ideas help.
