3 month rolling average?

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in using data that I have to plot a rolling average on a line chart. Basically this means that for each dimension value the data point is an average of the actual point for that dimension value, and the two data points for the previous 2 dimension values. For example, if I'm plotting a numbers on a chart that uses month as a dimension, the december data point should be an average of the data points for december, november, and october. I'm kind of stumped on how to do this. I did come across the rangeavg() function, but I'm not exactly sure how to use it. Can anybody help with this?

Thanks for the help.
