About the performance, is the script better than expression?

Hello guys,

I'm creating a personal project using QlikView, and I'm connecting multiple excel CSV files, with some external databases, and I'm facing some performance issues.

Like when you select something on a chart and you see that "progress bar", you know..

So, I'm thinking about converting as much as possible of my expressions to the script.

What do you guys think about it?
Is it really better?

Thanks

If you bring most of your logic into Script and make the front end lite, the Object refresh time will certainly reduce. I will do most of my cases like that.

But your file's size will increase, right?

So, basically I'm understanding that there is no direct relationship between the file's size and the refreshment time.

Thanks
Bruno
