Above() Doesn't work in charts? Dimension limits just dont work at all?

Hi, Anyone know why if I use an expression  with Above() in a straight table and get it showing what I want, and then convert that into a chart, it breaks, and no amount of changing sort fixes it?

Also, if I do dimension limits to show top 5 or first 5, it just gives nonsense results, regardless of how I sort or order my data?
