I am trying to access Access Point from my ipad. I could see all the dashboards but when i click on one of the dashboards it shows loading on the top right corner, But never loads.
I have Mobile Client ticked for the dashboard.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
I will install Qlikview Offline Service and see if the issue gets resolved.
Thanks for the info.
Ok - I have installed the Qlikview Offline , Do i need to make any changes on the server side ? Because when i login to the qlikview app it still gives me the same error - Error downloading the document list.
Thanks
That should work. You stated before you are not running IIS correct?
What release of QlikView are you running?
What IOS are you running?
Bill
Qlikview 11.2 SR3
IOS : 7.1
Do you have the 'Full Browser and Small Device Version' check box checked in the QlikView Management Console (QMC) -> Documents tab -> User Documents -> QVW file selected -> Server tab -> Availability sub menu?
Just an FYI here, if you have questions about the settings in the QMC, there is a link in the upper right corner of every page of the QMC you may click to bring up the online help, it is context sensitive. Also, if you could provide information as to how you have configured the QlikView Web Server (QVWS) resource in the QMC, that would help as well, so we can be sure of what settings you have there, in particular the Authentication tab settings.
I have the 'Full Browser and Small Device Version' ticked.
Authentication - Always
Type - Ntlm
Login - Default.
We are on QV 11.2
Not using IIS
Ok to sweeten this I also tried accessing the dashboard using Macbook - Safari - Same problem (Works with Chrome). So now its becoming more complicated or am i missing something.
One thing I failed to ask, is the iPad using WiFi or Cellular data connection?
The odd thing is you said you could see the apps in the AccessPoint page, the only other thing of which I can think is the Client settings in the QMC -> System -> Setup -> QVS resource -> Security tab, if you only have Named CALs etc., you should ensure you have the Client setting set to Prohibit Anonymous, as you will always want to have the QVServer use the client credentials to open the application etc.
If you are a customer with current maintenance, you may want to open a support case, so we can do a WebEx and have a look directly at your setup to be sure you have not overlooked something. If not, just feed further information here, and will see what else comes to mind. Oh, I run 11.20 SR5, patch support for SR3 is coming to an end in a couple of weeks, so I would recommend you consider updating when you can. SR5 is the most current Generally Available (GA) release on the download site. The only other thing of which I can think is to check the SR5 Release Notes to see if there is anything iPad related in either SR5 or SR4 fix sections that you think may be applicable.
Am doubtful you are on a Cellular data connection, but if you are, that could be part of the issue as well, which is why I wanted to confirm that aspect too.
Well we dont have Named CALS so i am using Allow Anonymous option ticked. I tried changing it to Prohibit Anonymous dint work.
The ipad i am using is on Wi-Fi.
I have no clue. Its with Only Apple Devices (ipads , Iphones and Mac books)
I tried accessing the same dashboard with my Android Device - S4( using Cellular data & Wi-Fi ) and it works.
Well I really appreciate your time.
Thanks
Hi,
What type of CALS are you using?
Could you please attach the error screen shot?
Thanks-Venu
Session CALs and All developers have Local License. (Pretty Old format)
