Access Point

Hi,

Does anyone know how you stop newly created apps automatically going on the access point? Currently everything is going on there and the list is becoming a little unmanagable...hoping you could either:

a) create folders to mange the documents

or

b) pick and choose which ones appear

Is this posible?

Cheers

Chris

Two alternatives:

  • Use NTFS rights and/or Section Access (depends on whether you really need SA) to limit the amount of documents that each user will see. Not everybody has to see everything.
  • Assign a category to each document. The list box at the top of the AP window allows each user to reduce the amount of documents by selecting a specific category.

As a general practice I develop on my desktop and when ready I save a copy on our server only those that I wish to be browsed. When changes are required I change on my desktop version and again copy to our server.
