Accessing web files requiring authentication

Hi all,

I am trying to access an Excel file stored on a Sharepoint site. This site requires login credentials, but when I enter the URL for the Excel document in QlikView, I get a 401 UNAUTHORISED message. I managed to enter the credentials using the File > Open URL and file loads correctly. However once i closed my document, this credentials are not saved.

Has anyone encountered anything similar?

Have you tried passing the credentials inside the URL?

e.g.

user:pass[at]IPAdress.com
