Someone else may have a document handy on how to use AD to authenticate and authorise users for Qlikview - although its pretty much right out of the box functionality.

Manoj,

AD is nothing but it is a repositary of your Employee's credentials which is maintained by companies.

In, QV application, when its come to Business User, their are three options to assign Cals:

1) Intergrate AD which is maintained by customer/Client for their employee

2) Create Custom Directory which is nothing but containes Business User ID/Pwds

3) You can define alll the Business User in your syetem and can assingn QV apps...

If you are on client side and implementing QV apps,

Then IF your customer is having AD, ask their IT team for AD details like IP, Login details, after that you can integrate that AD with your QMC..
