Hi all,
I have around 50 Licenced CAL's - 50 were in use. I removed 5 of them and trying to add an user. When I click on the Manage user icon .It pops up the manage users window. if I try to look for any of the user it will not display anything on the search result. I have my active directory to LDAP. I tried searching many users including mines .Iam not able to add one.
Iam I missing something here

Don't rename or delete files before removing the license.
NAMED CAL assignment:
Go to QMC ->Systems Tab-> Licenses menu, then click on QV Server and in the right pane select CAL tab(assigned). Here you have to specify USERNAME along with their DOMAIN for the addition of user.
DOC CAL assignment:
You have to select the document from QEMC documents and add the user name along with the domain name.
Once you have assigned the user, wait for sometime to reflect (ideally 24 hours)...
After removing a NamedCAL you have a 24 hours quarantine time for them and you could only assign new licences if there are any free one. Beside searching within the active directory you could write the user manually on the bottom of this window - but it will only work if you have free licences.

I think its is almost 24 hrs now.. my first issue is the names don't pop up in the search results.. if I am trying to search.. even if I am trying giving the domain\name or just name etc ..I used both option to searc in ldap and directory option also
I will wait for few more hours and try back
