I have a document that we've been using for a long time and we make frequent changes to it. Now, there's a problem with it: when I go to Document Properties, Security tab and check the box for Admin Override Security, click OK and save the document... then when I open it again the Admin Override Security box is unchecked! Has anyone seen that before? What is going on?
I started to see this after V10 (I suspect SR2 since there were some changes to the file format). If I accidentally saved a V9 document in V10, I lost the ability to change this security setting. You can try opening the document in V10, change the setting to what you want and save. Then the setting should stay, but you will not be able to change it in the lower version. I'm not sure if the same situation occurs between V10 and V11. -Phil
