Ajax problem: export action opens in browser instead of saving to file

Hi all,

In Qlikview Desktop I have configured an action to save records to a csv file, but in the Ajax client the records are opened in another tab instead of saved to file. Is there a way to export a csv file to a specified folder from the Ajax browser without pop-ups or tabs opening?

I am looking for a way to store variables that users can manipulate during their Qlikview session. Alternative ideas are welcome as well
