Align/Distribute functions are disabled despite objects selection.

I'm trying to align a few list boxes. I have them selected by shift-clicking (drag-rectangle does not work for some reason), and I'm able to verify that there are multiple list boxes selected because their title bars are highlighted green.

Despite multiple objects in the same sheet being selected, all of the functions under the Align/Distribute menu are greyed out. Any idea why this is so?

A similar question was asked in (http://community.qlik.com/message/104357), but the reply only suggested that multiple objects must be selected, which was done in my case.

Hello,

Make sure that in their properties, Layout tab, "Allow Move/Size" is checked.

It was checked, but I still couldn't use it. This was a 9.x version of the tutorial and im using 10.x, by the way. I just tried the 10.x version (couldnt get past that 'Allocated memory" error at first), and everything works now.
