Align objects to each other

Using QlikView 11 SR9

Is there a way to align objects to other objects?  For example, can you make object B align to x inches from the bottom of object A?  I know other systems support this kind of alignment functionality but I haven't seen it in QlikView.

I'm suffering from the issue where objects aligned in the client view look different in the web view and on different browsers.  Hoping that functionality will fix it.

Anyone else have other suggestions on how to work around this issue?  Very frustrating.

There are two questions here:

1. To position objects precisely, see Caption tab in object properties, there are values X-pos, Y-pos, Width and Height.

2. It looks different in Web View and depends on browser - not sure if anything can be done.  I just switch from non-Web to Web and try to do my best.  Screen resolution and font play role here.

press ctr+g , or menu /design/grid . in this mode move objects into position .

or set the position if a object , create a theme based on the object size and apply the theme to any other object

Here's what I am trying to do.  I have a tab which has multiple straight tables on it.  I want the straight tables to be aligned one on top of the other going down the page. For example

Table1

Table2

Table3

...

But I visually want them to be close to each other so everything flows together.  I've noticed trying to align them in the client is one thing but once you switch to web view, you get different results.  Even then, if you get the web view to work, once you put it on the server and others start looking at it with different operating systems and browsers (and versions of browsers) things don't always visually look correct.

Is there a way to ensure that these straight tables visually stay aligned with each other?
