Hi There,
Is there a way to align all filters/objects equally?
I have several filters including, Input boxes, Multi boxes and List boxes on the left side as filters and I cant align them equally, which looks very messy.
Is there a way to align them perfectly?
Thanks for your comments in advance.
TA
Are you aware that there is a toolbar, named "design" (view -> toolbars -> design) that provides a bunch of buttons to perfectly align your objects? (select multiple objects and click on the button "align left" to align them left...
If you mean something else, I'd like to hear
I can align them left or right, now that is not a problem. But I am still not able to make all filters size equal.
Ok, then perhaps this is something for you:
If you select 3 listboxes (clicking them while holding shift), then you can make then equal in width by changing the width of 1 of the listboxes...
Because you selected multiple, all selected listboxes will get the same width...
Hope it helps.
Hi Friend...Yes you can do this ...just drag your mouse and select all the object together and than press Ctrl+alt+enter and than use the arrow keys for placing your object to right place....Hope it help you.

Hi Thanks all,
Can some one align all of the filters exectly the same width and height ?
And may be write down the steps as well.

TA
Hi TA,
if you want to align these objects with the same height and width,
1. Select all the filters whatever you want.
2. Right click and goto properties, there you can see three tabs Font, Layout and Caption.
3. In Layout tab, there is option Size to data. Uncheck it. So that you can chnage the height width of the objects irrelevant to the data present.
4. As told before, you can use the Design tool bar to give a better alignment to them.
Hope this helps you.

Andrew
