Allowing end-users to utilize buttons to minimize objects...

In QV self-service, we are training our end-users to create their own new sheets, charts, objects, etc... and when buttons are created, they appear to work normally in terms of selecting certain values in fields (SELECT IN FIELD)...however, when it comes to minimize, maximize, pretty much anything that involves the LAYOUT of a particular object, nothing works.

In other words, every single object in this end-user-created "new sheet" has the ObjectID grayed out, and thus when they create a button that says "MINIMIZE CH01" for the only action, nothing happens...this user created chart "CH01" doesnt move...it simply doesnt allow endusers to minimize it via buttons....  it works by actually clicking minimize ON the chart, but the buttons are useless.

Any help?? Is this a bug? Or are buttons not supposed to be able to allow this?  The buttons work fine for selection fields, but dont work anytime an ObjectID is referenced in the ACTION.

Thanks!

James

James,

Make sure you use the correct object ID.  On server, it is probably "Server\CH01"

Regards,

Michael

Edit: Clarification - prefix "Server" if the object is created as Server object.
