Does anyone know if there are any alternatives to Section Access that can be used in real-time, instead of having to reload the script? This is so new users can be added without needing a relaod. I was asked to try and come up with something on it, and I'm drawing a blank.
Are you using SA for authorization or data reduction?
I don't know of any real time alternative. A reasonable workaround is to use AD Groups in the SA table. Then you can add/remove users from the groups without reloading.
I'm using it to reduce data. I have an AD group already, but I need to reduce the data by department - if I have 10 departments, each user should only see the data for the department they're in. I use the AD to pull the department and feed that into the SA table for each user. Can you reduce the data by department instead of NTNAME?
The QVW which tries to load the data from LDAP loads only the partial data frequently. We are unable to find the root cause of the issue as the QVW doesn't fails but it loads only the partial data.Can someone please help us to identify the root cause of the issue. It has been happening from quite a long time but we didn't succeed in finding the root cause of the issue. Hope someone can help us for the same.
