Always Selected One query

Hi,

I have used "Always Selected One" property for one field. I am using this field in Calendar sheet object.

At times, this property get de-selected automatically post data reload.

I am not able to understand why it happens?

Any idea pls!!

Hi Arun

I reported this to QlikTech back in May this year, it is a recognised bug with Bug #21287.

I have so far received no news that it has been fixed in either V8.5 or V9.0 so I assume the bug is still out there, so there's not much you can do about it I'm afraid. I am simply deploying applications with the bug in it, in the hope that users will not select more than one option (dangerous to say the least, but what choice?).

Cheers,

Think this is because the currently selected value is no longer available in the fresh data loaded.

edit: our posts crossed - the above is just a guess. If you have it confirmed as bug: What to do?

Hi Peter

In my case it's definately not that! I am using INLINE data that never changes, the list boxes are made up of a few items that come from an inline data table and every time a refresh happens the One & Only One option is removed from the properties of the list box.

Same is in my case. The field in my case contains date range from 01/01/2009 to 31/12/2010. I am generating these values thru Autogenerate keyword. With every reload, I am getting these values. In From calendar, Minimum date will get automatically selected and in To Calendar, Maximum date is getting selected automatically so there is no meaning of previous selection.
