An extra Header column on a pivot table

Hi all,

I should create a pivot table which consists of an extra header column only which represents only text and has nothing to do with table expressions.

As shown in sttached snapshot....

VOLUME (In Ktons) and Ex-shipping price(USD /ton) is only a header column with text , which divides  the next column.

In simple words, I want to show a grouped Headings.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Susvith

Have a look here: Merge headers in pivot table

Or, if you want a simpler solution you can play with text box.

Hi Susvith,

Use Text objects and use the font and background styles similar to the Header and place this objects above the table, which looks like the main header.  Can you attach the sample file.

Jagan.

Hi Susvith,

You can use the Text Objects to full advantage here.

You can keep the background color and the text formatting similar to the ones that are for the Header row of your table and size the Text object accordingly.

This will be an easy solution to your Requirement.
