Animation without showing the trail

Hi all,

I'd like to create a scatter chart with animation effect. I use [Year] as first dimension. However, when I click 'Play', it  keeps the trail as it moves to show where it has been. But what I want is just two dots (red and blue) move from the beginning to the end (trail points are not necessary). Is it possible? Could anyone give me a favor? Thanks in advance!

Did you ever find the solution to this? I have the same problem and I can't figure out how to remove the trail.

I was wondering whether it has anything to do with the latest version?

Hi there

I have been informed that this is a behavior change in SR12. Prior to SR12, there was no ‘trace’.

We are trying to find a way to turn off the trace.

Hi, has anyone figured out how to turn the trace off yet? Really annoying problem which ruins the whole chart.
