Application section access is not working in access point

We have developed an application and the user levels access has been given according to the divisions they are belongs to.

Eg:  if A user belongs to division ladies wear, A user can view only ladies wear division sales performance.

This user level access is working fine in the developer mode. But it is not working in access point.

Please help on this.

Thanks in advance,

Now we can start shooting in all directions, hoping to have a lucky hit and discover the cause of your problem by accident

Or you can supply us with a teeny bit of additional information, like:

  • What exactly is happening in the AccessPoint when you try to open your document. Is it even visible? Do you get an error message?
  • How did you implement your access/data restriction? Section Access with NTNAMES? Data reduction?

Note that a developer with role=ADMIN has more rights in QlikView Desktop than the same developer has to the same document in the AccessPoint.

Hi,

Please check which type of security you provided to the application i suggest go for windows (NT Domain Names) to the application then it works fine. And maintain any excel files with NTusername, password, department and division.
