Are there any known issues consulting sql after server version changes?

Good day to everyone, i'm new to qlickview and looked up if there's any change in consulting SQL Server on diferent versions but didn't find anything so far, i hope i haven't overlooked any info.

For instance i currently have sql 2005  and am about to get sql 2012, and i'd like to know if there's any significative change that may hinder performance on qlikview if i change my current sql version from 2005 to 2012.

I believe that everything should be fine if my databases are left intact but need to make sure.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, upgrading your database should not be a problem. You might need to update your ODBC connection.

Good luck.
