Arranging chart legends horizontally to bottom

Hi All,

I am facing an issue while arranging chart legends horizontally. I have tried with all the charts but, still same.I am able to drag it to bottom but, it still arranges in vertical manner only. 

I have reset user docking and user sizing property many times but still no luck. I am facing same issue with QV 11.2 as well as with QV 12.

Please suggest.

Best I was able to find is the following Design Blog post:

It appears you may only be able to do this in certain chart types.
