Associative Search

Hi All,

I have a list box and am trying to use associative search as described here http://qlikboard.com/2010/11/10/associative-search-in-qlikview-v-10-list-boxes/

I have a list box for customers and when I type region in it, it doesn’t show anything. Am I missing something? Below is a screen shot of my QlikView version(please note that I have erased the license key)

in the search field, at the very right end, do you have two arrows to the right >> or to the left <<?

If you got two to the right, click on it so you get a broader input field with two arrows to the left or set the default search mode in the general properties tab to associative search.

Thanks for your reply, I just found that am using a multi box, is it possible to have the associative search work with multi box?

So does that mean we can't do associatuve search with a multi box?

Not a 100% sure, but I think you can't. At least I haven't seen it working yet and I can't get it to work now.
