Authentication with SQL users in Qlik Sense server

Hello,

I was recently working on the UDC (User Directory Connectors) in the QMC in Qlik sense server. Based on my research I found that the users synced in UDC won't be used in authentication in the hub. So what is the purpose of this?

Two, I was trying to authenticate users from SQL directly. I mean I have several users in a table in SQL, I want to use these users as authentication users. I don't want local users, active directory users etc.. I only need to access the hub using these SQL users and this is a client need. How can I have a solution in this?

I'm looking for the exact same thing. I can find no available solutions, which means manual labor for setting up user accounts in Active Directory for users who already have records in our SQL table. Kind of frustrating... but actually a lot of other standalone BI providers do in the same way for some reason.
