Hi,
I added conditional formatting to a column using the 'Background' properties feature of a pivot table.
The problem is it also applies the conditional formatting to the header which i dont want. Does anyone know how i can remove the conditional formatting from the header but keep it in the column?
E.g. below pic shows the background properties i have used and the 'Current Status' circled which i want to remain normal (no conditional formatting/background colour).
i dont see any option except going for a straight table.
Hi,
You can configure in "Settings" / "User Preferences" / "Design" and check the option "Always Show Design Menu Items"
In Right button will be show "Custon Format Cell", you can to set a color for your header.
Thanks Eduardo, altought this is a very useful feature to format it doenst allow me to take away the 'background formatting' for the header
Unfortunately, QlikTech declared this "working as designed". It's a known problem. I thought someone had suggested a workaround in an earlier thread on the subject, but I'm not remembering it at this point. I thought it was something like put your total row on top, but that's what my pivot table with the problem already does, so that can't be it. Anyway, here's the request for a design change on the customer portal from over a year ago:
