Bar Chart

Hi,

X aixis label is getting truncated in the bar chart when we are choosing the label to display in the slanting format.Is there any wrapt text or any other option to over come this???

Hi,

Consider you have a bar chart in the X axis as customer name and y axis as count of tickets. I am displaying the customer name in slanting format . So the customer name is getting truncated. Is there any option to wrap the text?

Hi XXX,

Now I Understand yoru problem. You want to limit the characters that are displayed on the X axis. THis can be done by going to the Presentation tab in the chart properties window and there you will find an ption for this on the top right corner" Limit Legends". Check this check box and then it will ask you how many characters you want to display. Just specify a small number here like 10. Now the name will be displayed as Xy..

There is no option for wrapping of long texts, sizing up the whole chart, or just the axis (Shift+Ctrl) should make more room for your labels.

Other options to consider may be;

• using CTRL+SHFT and the mouse to change the relative size of the plot area (leaving more room for the labels)
• change to a horizontal bar chart
