Hi guys,
I have created a bar chart with "values on data points" and "plot values inside segments". QlikView shows now only the values inside the segment if the bar is long enough (means enough space to display the value). However in my case i would like to see the value always with disregard to the length of the bar.
Has anyone done this before or knows a way?
Many thanks,
Harry
yeah, you need to increase the bar chart size, so that you can able to see the values inside the bars.
Hi Harry,
I am not sure, if it is possible. In this case I often use smaller font of data points values
exp.(expand expression and set text format to '<H6>'
or in axes tab use Static Max to stretch your bar to fit values.

Hi Harry,
See is these help.
1)Limit the number of bars and have a scroll bar.
2)Use dimension limits and show only say 10 bars, remaining will be shown as others.
3)See if horizontal bars help.
thanks,
Rajesh Vaswani
I think it might not possible...
1) Even if u increase the size of the chart also, we can't determine the max value of the expression.
2) If you use the Static Max and Min also, the same issue exists if the data range is high.
If the bar is too small to include the value inside, then the value is not shown on the bar at all.
The easiest option is to ploy the values above the bar rather than inside the bar, though this may not be the answer you are looking for.
Displaying the bars horizontally is usually better when displaying the values above the bars.
Thanks! In my case I have 1 bar chart but the values have strong difference. Example: First bar shows 200 million dollars and the other bar shows 50% (a percentage value). Cause of this strong difference the % value is not shown in my bar chart. Tried to use split axis but it doesn't work....
Had someone maybe the same problem?
Best
Harry
