Bar chart axis

I need to write alomng the y axis and x axis on the chart . Please osmebody can tell how we do it ?

Have you tried the Text in Chart feature? Check it out on the Presentation tab in Chart Properties.

Tried but didn't worked .. does,t come vertically on y axis

When you have added a "Text in Chart". Press Ctrl+Shift and then you will be able to drag the text to your desired location. Also note that you can enter an angle of 90 or 270 to make it vertical.

Thanks Alot Kjn it worked .. can you please help .. how we can make X and Y axes visble as a line..

There is a setting for axis width (thickness) on the Axes tab in chart properties but unfortunately it seems to be broken in the current 9.0 version. It will probably be fixed in the next update.

Go to the Style tab and switch plot area background style to "Frame" and see if you like that mode better. Also, see the Plot Area Border setting on the Colors tab to adjust width and color of the border.
