Bar offset not aligning for Waterfall chart with positive and negative values

Hi All,

I want to create a waterfall chart for Finance application which contains both positive and negative values.

When the bar changes direction( from positive to negative or vice versa), I notice that the starting point of the bar does not align with the previous value ( there is a slight shift which can be clearly noticed when you zoon the view to 400% ).

I do not notice this problem when the values are only positive or only negative.

I have attached a sample qvw and a screenshot. Appreciate your quick response.

Have you taken the Dimension. And Please try to search on google.

Thanks for your response.

I have tried various options with taking the dimension as well. It does not make any difference.

The bar offset issue still exists for the waterfall .

Hi bagadur,

This seems like a bug in Qlikview. I changed the offset of 2nd exp to 0.501 and it become fine.

It seems like there is an .001 alignment issue while having a -ve value.

You can raise this concern with Qlik support, or may be some one else have a solution to this.
